TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!

“Yeah. I’m a big believer in random capitalization. The rules of capitalization are so unfair to words in the middle.”

Great teaser! My 6-yr-old writes her 3s Ss and Zs backwards, so she would support mirror-image writing in addition to random capitalization :)

  3. Jo-Jo says:

Oh that sounds funny…but how true it is! Thanks for the teaser.

  4. Bookfool says:

You just can’t lose with a John Green teaser!

  5. Melissa says:

Made me laugh. I read the book months ago, and I can still (almost) picture what’s going on. Such is the power of John Green. :)

    Hope you’re enjoying the book…

  6. Karen H. says:

YES. I agree WITH that statement.

  7. Staci says:

I loved it when I read it for the first time and I love it again as your teaser!!! Awesome book!

  8. Joanne says:

What the teaser is talking about here – I loved it. This is exactly what I mean when I say that Green does a fantastic job at creating realistic characters. Just the addition of this randomly odd trait creates such a human-like feel.
