The moderator sounds fantastic, and what a line-up of speakers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You *must* pull THE SPACE BETWEEN US off your shelf and read it.  This is my favorite type of book - beautiful language, I learn something about the setting/history/culture .&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All the posts I&#039;ve read at various blogs have such great things to say about FoB.  How fun that this group of bloggers was able to connect there, too!</description>

I tend to agree with Gina Nahai about Americans&#039; general lack of curiosity about other places and cultures (there are plenty of individual exceptions, of course). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can see how a smaller panel might be more discussion-oriented - thanks for sharing your impressions of this one!</description>
