If you are here looking for the TLC tour for Ru Freeman, author of A Disobedient Girl, it’s been postponed due to an unfortunate bout of flu for Ru. She’ll be stopping by next week, though…in the meantime, check out my review of A Disobedient Girl.
********************
So. Instead of Ru, you’re stuck with me. And today’s post really is all about me.
I saw this last week at that other Jill‘s blog. Actually, I’ve seen it there and everywhere, but Jill inspired me. Because she pretty much has the coolest name ever.
Available or single?
Every Softdrink should have a Hamburger.

I have lots of friends.

My eyes.

Green.

Not only Google, but Google Chrome.

Born in California, moved to Oregon when I was 3. Moved back to CA when I was 8. Since then, it’s been Morro Bay. Anything before that really doesn’t count.

My iPhone.
January or February?
February has more holidays, which means more days off work. It’s also got that goofy leap year thing going for it.
Kids and their names?
What about ‘em? Some people go with some weird-ass names. Me, I avoided kids altogether, so I don’t have to worry about that.
Life is incomplete without…?
Books. Duh.

I consider marriage to be like kids…unnecessary (for me…I’m not making a blanket statement here).

My husband loves Brussel Sprouts. He keeps trying to get us to eat them. Ew.
Amanda´s last blog ..National Punctuation Day!
That’s just wrong.
Fun! (I have nothing more intelligent to add.) Sometimes I think I want lots of kids just to name them. But then I realise that’s being silly.
Eva´s last blog ..The Annotated Pride and Prejudice (thoughts)
It’s not silly…I think everyone does that! I was always quite fond of the names Emma and Alexander.
Poor Ru–hopefully she feels better soon. I agree, brussel sprouts are beyond disgusting!!
Stephanie´s last blog ..BTT: Recent Sad
They’re right up there with lima beans!
I’m totally jealous of your iPhone and would consider it essential if I had one. We love Brussel sprouts around here.
Kathy´s last blog ..Stray Affections Winner
I hardly ever make phone calls on it…that’s why i consider it an indulgence.
I’ve not heard of Google Chrome. I always learn something new when I visit you.
I like brussel sprouts when someone else cooks them. I don’t cook them properly apparently and they turn out like the nasty little bitter things you mentioned. I promise never to cook them for you.
I don’t get the weird ass names thing. I know that parents do not what their Jacob to be the 5th Jacob in class but naming your kid some weird ass name is just asking for trouble. Unless you are obscenely rich and can afford body guards. I’ve been told that my kids have good resume names. I think that means I picked well.
Ti´s last blog ..Review: A Mercy
Chrome is a browser and I love it! For some reason it performs very well on my computer. I know others have had problems, though.
Good resume names are very important. I’ve come across some bizarre names in the past 12 years.
You always make me laugh. I think it must have something to do with being a Jill …
Belle´s last blog ..Interview: Author Joy Preble Talks About Her Writing Process
It’s all in the name.
I hope Ru feels better soon.
I haven’t tried Google Chrome yet. My husband’s family vacations in Morro Bay every summer. They love it there.
I don’t think we’ll see fall until around Halloween this year. Yum! I love Italian food.
I enjoyed reading your responses, Jill. Have a great rest of the week!
Literary Feline´s last blog ..Review: Richard Stark’s The Hunter by Darwyn Cooke
It can be pretty foggy here…but I like it that way.
I love the ABCs. very fun. (what’s our sched for Lolita? Ready when you are.)
Care´s last blog ..Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
I’m posting about Lolita tomorrow…a much simpler read-along this time!
I always get stuck on the first question for this one. Available or single? But those are the same thing, right? So, I guess my answer would be no. But aren’t they supposed to be either/or questions? Then I move on and I’m doing fine until I get to “Google?” And my brain implodes.
Ali (worducopia)´s last blog ..Hate List–Jennifer Brown (book review)
I’ve seen a few “huh” responses to that first question.
I LOVE Google Chrome. It’s the best browser I’ve ever tried. And now I see why you told me that green is the best color.

Heather´s last blog ..Blindness by Jose Saramago
I love Brussel Sprouts, esp cooked in bacon grease. Mmmm.
I really need to try Google Chrome.
Lisa´s last blog ..Random Friday, It’s Fall!
So do you do towers? My sister loves brussel sprouts. I think they are disgusting!
girasoli´s last blog .."twisted"~ PhotoHunt
I can do towers, as long as there are no open spots!
I used to say, if you cover it in cheese or chocolate, I’ll eat it. But brussel sprouts are the exception. Blech.
Lisamm´s last blog ..Review: Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger
I was tagged for this but never do it. Perhaps I will now that I see it can be amusingly done!
Jenners´s last blog ..Review: Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
That’s me…never take anything seriously!
“I consider marriage to be like kids…unnecessary (for me…I’m not making a blanket statement here).”
I wish more people understood this better (or were not so judgemental.) My married friend is not having kids – people think she’s wrong or selfish. Me having kids and hubby that I’m not marrying – people think I’m wrong or immoral. It’s 2009 people!!
Joanne´s last blog ..Six Sentence Saturday v.2
chocolate cake and WATER?!!! Surely that was a typo!!!!!!!
