It’s 9pm here on the West Coast, so I still have plenty of time for a TSS post. Right?
I had plans today to write some reviews. Instead, I got sucked up into When Everything Changed, and I spent most of the afternoon finishing the book. This is the first book I’ve read for the Women Unbound Reading Challenge and it was fantastic, although a wee bit disjointed in parts. But I can forgive that because of the content. It’s a summary of both the lives of US women and the feminist movement, from 1960 to the present. It’s very current, as it ends with a look at Hilary Clinton and Sarah Palin and the 2008 election. Two thumbs up, most definitely.
I did get one review typed up, for The Woman in White. But it’s for the Classics Circuit, and won’t post until the 23rd. I have 9 other books begging me to type up my thoughts, and I started with one that I can’t even post about yet. So now I am both ahead of myself and behind. Go figure.
This week I am back to my regular work schedule of 4 10s, which means I have tomorrow off. Last week the holiday really messed up my schedule, resulting in a grumpy, out-of-sorts softdrink. I guess you could say I was feeling a little flat. Har har. Anyways, tomorrow I have plans to spend a little quality time with Mike Wazowski (my laptop), getting caught up on those reviews. Tomorrow also kicks off a new adventure with Moby Dick.
Right now, I’m off to ponder over what to read next.

I think you can be forgiven for not writing reviews since you were reading instead.
I love it when a book pulls me in and won’t let go.
I look forward to reading your review of The Woman in White. Have a great day off tomorrow.
When Everything Changed sounds really good, and the reviews will get done eventually. I’m behind, too, with 4 or 5…need to spend a day and just get them done. Enjoy your day off today!!

When Everything Changed sounds good. I will look forward to the review and see if it is for me
Well, welcome back
Oooh, When Everything Changed sounds great. It’s hard to find a nice up-to-date title on feminism. Or maybe that’s because I haven’t read any women’s studies in a scandalously long time. Shame on me!

I’m looking forward to your thoughts on Woman in White. It’s been on my shelf forever. I always have good intentions when it comes to getting caught up on reviews, etc and it never fails, I get distracted. lol.
