*giggles* I feel so mighty – I was one of the people that recommended Nymeth read this, and now I’m seeing reviews of it pop up everywhere. It is a lovely book, and the sequel is rather sweet too (though maybe not quite as good). Glad you enjoyed it!

I’ve seen the movie version of the book with Fred Astaire. It’s totally creepy because Fred’s reeeeally, really old, and he totally lusts after Leslie Caron. Anyway, I decided to read the book when I was in middle school because I thought that the movie would make a good book. I suppose I was expecting something more… I don’t know, lusty.
