I saw the B52s when I was a kid- 7 in fact! They played at Darien Lake in upstate NY and my family was there camping! So I may not have danced to them in high school… but I did dance to them then, and NOW.

I recently planned a father / daughter dance and none of the dads were dancing so I had the DJ play Rock Lobster. I’ve never seen so many middle age men on the floor with the “Down…down…down” LOL. It was hysterical! I was bopping behind the curtain so that no one could see me.

My fave song of theirs is Private Idaho.
