My abosolute favorite book of all time. Other than his perpetual use of "GD" I can't see how it's such a terrible book and so wildely banned and hated. First time I read it was for my english class 4 years ago and I was the only person that read it from cover to cover. Amazing piece of literature. I LOVE Catcher In The Rye. I think I'm going to try his collection of Short Stories: Nine Stories first. Interesting thoughts and catches with frequently used words. (Catcher also always reminds me of the Mel Gibson movie Conspiracy Theory since he was completely obsessed with the book in the film. ;) It was apart of our syllabus in HS, but we were running out of time.
