Hi everybody! Billy here. As you read this I’m on my way to New York and BEA (that’s Book Expo America for all you unbookish goats) with Softdrink! Billy is soooo excited (although a little nervous, too, ‘cause Billy’s never been on a plane. But Softdrink said flying is fun and Billy can have her peanuts.). Billy has lots of plans once Billy gets to New York…Billy is going to check out all the booths at BEA, and Billy is going to meet some fellow bloggers, and Billy is going to ride in a taxi (Billy’s been practicing for this…check Billy out…”YO, TAXI!”), and Billy’s gonna go see a Broadway play, and well, Billy’s just gonna be a tourist for a week. Billy’s gonna have a blast, Billy just knows.
Softdrink has a few posts planned while we’re gone. Remember those New York mini-challenges she held? Well, she’ll be doing a recap of the participating posts so you all can get a New York fix while we’re off on vacation. And when we get back, Billy will have LOTS of stories to share. Don’t worry, Billy is taking Billy’s notebook and camera and will document everything. Billy will try to get some embarrassing pictures of those silly book bloggers. Maybe Billy could start a new feature…Bloggers Gone Wild. Whaddya think?
