…to sign up to be a cheerleader.
Billy is all signed up to be a cheerleader for the readathon (and no, Softdrink didn’t make Billy). Billy is practicing cartwheels, and cheers, and woo-hoos. And, as you can see, Billy has Billy pom-poms. Well, really it’s just one pom-pom, ’cause if Billy had two, you wouldn’t be able to see Billy.
Softdrink says that cheerleading during the readathon is a whole lotta fun. Billy thinks it would be even more fun if you all signed up, too.
So head on over to the readathon site and sign up!
Readers are cool. Books are, too. If you’re in the readathon, Billy will cheer for you!

I wish I could cheer with you and Billy. But I’ll be lost in lace land at a workshop. (still having fun)
I have signed up! Since I’m reading too, I only signed up for 3 hours, but will probably do more than that along the way.
I love that you have the Brothers K in that pile…
I wish I could participate in this read-a-thon, both as a reader and a cheerleader! But, I will be driving to an out of town wedding that day. I can’t read in the car (hello, headache!), and my husband isn’t a fan of audiobooks. I’m going to try to cheer everyone on from the car via my phone, but my phone won’t let me access the standard Blogger commenting system, which knocks out a lot of blogs. The nerve of these people, getting married on read-a-thon day… I’ll do what I can, though!
I will just wish you all the best…I am most likely going to be reading but if I sign up…I will put pressure on myself and feel guilty…so…Go Readers, Go…
I cant wait for the Read A Thon. I can use a lovely day of books and books… and maybe a side of…. books.
Cheer away Billy!!!! – and if if is just one pom pom… would that make it a pom?
Oooh. Thanks for the reminder. I can’t do the whole read-a-thon (7 month old baby), but I’d love to be a cheerleader. I’ll go check it out.
Oh Miss Jill, you are the ultimate cheerleader. I did sign up and will do as much as I can. LOVE cheerleading and hope others do too. Rah Rah Sis Boom Bah!
Love it! I’m participating in the readathon again (this will be at least my third one) but mainly as a reader this round. I have a serious amount of reading to do for my Fright Fest feature that month so the readathon is giving me the perfect excuse to curl up with a handful of spooky reads!
Yay for Billy and sfotdrink, the best cheerleaders around!
I’ll be an unofficial cheerleader as I’ll be tied up for mch of the read-a-thon.
Sounds like you and Billy are all ready to go for the readathon. Billy, I can see will be great with the appropriate rhyming cheers. School prevents me from participating but I am looking forward to the opportunity next fall!
I will not sign up, but I will be a cheerleader whenever I am awake that night. (And if history holds, I am awake a LOT at night!) But if she’s sleeping, I’m sleeping, so I can’t officially sign up.
