Do you know what tomorrow is? Yup, it’s the start of Book Blogger Appreciation Week! And what’s a community event without a song! Yes, you’re right to be worried…the read-a-thon is coming and I’m warming up to be a cheerleader by adulterating songs. And overusing exclamation marks.
Earlier this week Andi had a post titled “I Will Survive” and my first thought was “oooh, that would be a good song to parody.” (Don’t worry, I read her post before I ran off to spend some quality time with the rhyme dictionary.) So, thanks to Andi for the inspiration (she’s probably cringing right now, as it’s entirely possible I’ve ruined this song for her forever).

I Will Read Books
I look at the page
I begin reading
Get so engrossed that all other
thoughts just start receding
I’ve spent so many nights

But take my advice
