Hi everybody. Billy Goat here…long time no blog. Softdrink is such a computer hog…but since she’s gone on vacation, Billy thought Billy would do a few guest posts (but don’t tell Softdrink, okay? Billy’s a little miffed with Softdrink right now).
Why is Billy miffed? Well, because of this word…

That’s what Softdrink said to Billy this morning when she left for Hawaii.
Billy thinks that takes a lot of nerve. How come humans get to have all the fun?
So since Softdrink left Billy home all alone (WITHOUT EVEN A CHRISTMAS COOKIE), Billy’s trying to think of things to entertain Billy’s self. Because goats can’t read 24/7.
Billy already shortsheeted the bed.
Now Billy’s going to go rearrange all of the bookshelves. That’s gonna take awhile, because holy goats, there’s a lotta books around here!
Do you got any ideas for Billy? Billy really wants to surprise Softdrink when she gets back.
Maybe he could rearrange the books by color. Then Softdrink would have a beautiful rainbow awaiting her when she got home, and she wouldn’t feel like she had to go to Hawaii to find beautiful rainbows.

Billy should most definitely replace all the sugar with salt, cover at least one wall with Christmas wrapping paper (the really ugly variety), OR you could just put the house up for sale. That would be very effective at communicating your unhappiness at being left behind.

Billy should remove all the labels from food cans in the kitchen, and mark them so only you know what’s inside. Then Softdrink will have to beg and plead so she doesn’t have to guess what she’s opening for dinner! (My roommate’s friends did this to each other in college and boy were the tricked ones grovelling).

I think you should have a wild party and invite all of his goatish friends over for awhile. Then take some pictures and place them inconspicuously in some of the books on the shelf. That is bound to get softdrink’s dander up, and really, it’s the gift that keeps on giving, because who’s to say when another picture will turn up!
I think you should do a dramatic reading of Moby Dick and put it on You Tube. You know how she had such a hard time with it? She obviously wasn’t up for the challenge.

Hmm, definitely something book-related. Flip all the books so they’re spine-in on the shelves? Swap dust jackets on similarly sized books? Replace as many books as possible with foreign language editions? Have fun, Billy! I’m pretty sure softdrink will, so you deserve some too!
