There is no architecture in Florida that looks like this, so it’s wonderful for me to see this! That second picture is pretty amazing, and I wonder what it would look like inside!
My city looks so lovely! I especially enjoy that brownstone with the little house attached–it may be my favorite bit of local lore/builing in the entire city.
I really went nuts over all the different textures and architectural styles in Boston. Isn’t that one house officially the skinniest house in town? I think Dawn pointed that one out to me.
I love Boston, it’s just a wonderful city. Those photos capture why it’s so special to me. I’ll add Harvard University, MIT, and Fenway Park to my list of favorites.
My name is Softdrink. Seriously. (Okay, fine. It's Jill. But I swear I answer to Softdrink.)
Most of what you'll find here is my disjointed thoughts on what I'm reading. Along with random life stuff...basically, whatever I feel like chatting about. Because this is my blog and I call the shots.
I've divorced myself from the term "book blogger." I don't write reviews and I don't accept books for review. Although, if you're a friend and you want to share books, I'm cool with that.
Whatcha lookin’ for?

Words to Live By
In a real sense, people who have read good literature have lived more than people who cannot or will not read. It is not true that we have only one life to live; if we can read, we can live as many more lives and as many kinds of lives as we wish. ~S.I. Hayakawa
The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.
~St. Augustine
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.
~Mark Twain

Do you have lots of stucco, too? California is all stucco, so I adore all the brick and wood buildings.

Your city IS lovely!
Great photos. I’d really love to have a look ‘live’ some day in future! Thanks for sharing

Yup…it’s the skinniest house in town. Right across from Copp’s Burying Ground.
Gorgeous, but I am so glad I live in more open, horizontal spaces.
I have the same reaction to LA, minus the word gorgeous.
Two thoughts.
1. How cute!!
2. So many stairs!
Stairs just give you more justification to eat cannoli!
Duh.

I only saw the outside of Fenway Park…I was surprised it was right in the middle of a neighborhood!
Wonderful photos. Looks like a grand visit.
It was awesome.
I love those balconies in the fourth picture! Now that’s something I would love to have at my home!
Makes me want to move there, at least part-time. I’d miss my yard.
