No, I’m not doing a parody…but I am on tumblr. As Tiny Bubbles. Get it? Fizzy Thoughts—>Tiny Bubbles? No? Well, it made sense in my head. Probably for the same reason why every time I think of tumblr I think of Culture Club singing “I Tumble 4 Ya” (Hey, I was a child of the ’80s. I listened to Flock of Seagulls, too (but not Devo). And I pegged my jeans.)
Sorry. I might’ve gotten a little sidetracked on youtube looking at ’80s New Wave bands. If you ever need a good laugh, I’d highly recommend it.
Back to tumblr and the reason why I now have two blogs. I’d been wondering what the heck to use my tumblr account for (it’s been sitting there neglected for quite the while), and when I decided to do Fat Mum Slim’s Photo a Day June I realized that was the perfect spot for my lame ass pictures! So now I don’t have to clutter up this blog with photos that are nothing more than a glimpse into what happens when you give my stream of consciousness thinking a photo prompt.
Also, there’s a video clip that’ll show you what happens when I try to vlog. That’s probably your one chance to see me on video. Don’t worry, it’s very short…just like my vlogging career.
I’m doing the photo a day thing through Instagram because I really just can’t get into Tumblr. I’ve tried twice, and both times quit within six months…
Love your tumblr thing. Don’t know how to leave comments on it though. And hate you for making me think of that Culture Club song now.
I’m glad you posted this. I’ve been doing the Photo a Day thing for a few months now and also send mine to my Tumblr blog. I didn’t realize you were participating but now I’m following you on Tumblr. I didn’t want to clutter up the main blog with them either. I post mine to Instagram since I’m doing strictly phone photos and then automatically to Tumblr from there.
Bizarre how the 80′s mind works because now I have Talk Talk “It’s My Life” in my head. Not Culture Club or Flock of Seagulls. Don’t ask me why. I guess I grabbed the first catchy 80′s song I could think of. Love your vlog…that is exactly how mine would go I think.
