Why yes, for the rest of the month I am going to torture you with posts about IT (post-ITs?) and clowns and why you should join us in reading Stephen King’s IT in September. But don’t worry, today’s post will be free of any potentially disturbing clown nose pics (but not a link to where you can get your very own clown nose!).
Instead, I thought we could brainstorm catchy tag-lines for our IT-along (and like Mother Abigail in The Stand, we seem to have multiple spellings available…IT-along, italong (which is ridiculously difficult for me to type), It-along…anything goes!).
Anyhoosie, back to my original intent. So far I’ve come up with these catchy catchphrases…
- Just do IT.
- Don’t leave home without IT.
- Just when you thought it was safe to go to the circus again.
- Send in the clowns.
- Here come the clowns.
- A Penny read is a Penny dead.
Obviously, there’s a reason I’m not in marketing. What have you got to offer?
(And if you think I’m taking myself seriously with ANY of these posts, you’re at the wrong blog, baby. )
And yes, I’ve got more clownish posts coming soon. Here’s a little hint about the next topic…
