Okay, so I totally missed the boat on this one. I took the pictures way back in mid-October, but then fell apart on the posting.
Oopsie?
The October theme for Where In the World Are You Reading was coffee shops (or other places that sell your beverage of choice). And despite my (nick)name, my beverage of choice is coffee! While I do most of my reading at home, I do like to sneak out to Top Dog Coffee Bar here in Morro Bay for a change in location. And okay, for a latte. And fine. Maybe there are muffins involved, too.
I didn’t take a picture of the outside, but just know that it’s the yellowest building in town. And the place with the best lattes…warm and iced. Although the iced lattes aren’t as pretty.
The topic for November’s Where In he World Are You reading is Reading Companions. I’ll try be more timely for that one.

And no, I didn’t order those coffees on the same visit. The book, however, was the same. And it (Canada) was just as good as the coffee.
The only thing this place needs is comfy chairs. There is not a cushion in sight. Although if there were cushions, I’d probably move in.
I’m sure that is the point! Don’t want you staying around for too long, unless you order multiple times. I only hang out at coffee shops if I have to kill time between one kid thing and another. (Plus I’m not a coffee drinker – I know, sacrilege.)

I love the leaf pattern in that fancy coffee. I usually get straight tea or a chai latte when I read in coffee shops. My favorite coffee shop is still one called Cool Beans in Madison, WI, but I have a pretty decent local coffee shop here in rural MN too.
